ADAT SHALOM. ENDURING INFLUENCE OF THE JEWISH-BUDDHIST DIALOGUE

November 16 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EST
Free

The Dalai Lama asked two questions to the Jewish scholars and rabbis who met with him in Dharamsala in 1990. The first was about Jewish spiritual survival in exile. The second which has become increasingly important is the problem of reactive emotions and how our spiritual practices might “purify” these states of mind.

In my talk I will explore these two questions, the answers offered then and how these questions are still relevant today.  The talk will be followed by an open Q and A.
